Scanning, OCR, CDs & DVDs

Scanners can range in price from under £100.00 to a few thousand pounds. If you have a scanning requirement I can help you select the right scanner. If it's a one off job, I can do the scanning for you and give you a CD with all your scanned documents on it. Or perhaps you would simply like photographs scanned and put onto CD or DVD.

Even some digital photocopiers can act as scanners, and if they are connected to your network everyone can then have access to a scanner. Scanners will usually come with some sort of OCR package. These packages allow you to take the scanned document and turn it into text that most word processors will understand. You can use scanners to archive documents and then burn the images onto a CD or DVD.

I can help and advise you on creating your own CDs or DVDsfor archiving and backup. You can also get CD towers and servers so as everyone can share applications and training materials that come on CD or DVD.
